InkAntique.com: Nashville artist Dustin Michael Headrick creates original art using iconic music, cinema and pop culture themes carefully inked on rare 1800's antique book pages from around the world; the inking process varies per individual piece and may include pre-ink digital painting, block pressing/stamping, watercolor, thermal inking, pencil/pen and thermal burn, or various combinations thereof.There are two types of antique book pages used to create the art: antique book pages containing text (mid 1800's History of Roman Archetecture and Plutarch's Lives) and antique book pages containing music (early 1800's shape note hymnal). The large format 8x10 art is only available on book pages containing text, and the smaller 5x7 art is available on either antique book text or music (your choice). Note: the antique music pages work best with horizontal designs.The images and iconography portrayed in the artworks are considered artistic interpolation and by no means intentionally infringing on any assumed reservations.
Framing
All antique book art is professionally scored and format framed (full-profile) under thick 2mm glass and delivers ready to hang and display.
Shipping
All orders are shipped for $6 (any quantity/size flat rate) via USPS Priority anywhere in the United States and delivers within 10 business days from date of order. Please let us know if you need to expedite your order and we'll make the arrangements.
